ABOUT US

We realize a dream by building our company to help you realize yours.

Sandy

Customer service

An entrepreneur and dreamer, Sandy started his first company when he was just 16 years old. During his career as Vice President of Business Development and Marketing, he co-founded two technology firms. Both were very successful and one was selected as one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies. From a young age, he refurbished vehicles, then renovated and built houses. His passion for sailing took him across the ocean as captain of Ambrosie, a Beneteau 473.

The creation of Imagine Van Life is added to his adventures. All his experience is put to use (business, customer relations, creativity, electricity, plumbing, mechanics). Because he has been successful in realizing his dreams, his passion is now to realize yours.

CHRISTOPHER

Head cabinetmaker

Artistic and creative, Christopher trained as a cabinetmaker at the Association des Compagnons du Tour de France in the early 90s. Woodworking allowed him to travel to several French cities; in 2001, this led him to Montreal. For the past 25 years, he has been making numerous woodworking projects, from country and modern kitchens to furniture for different rooms in the house; he also makes conference tables for companies, bars for restaurants and even furniture for churches. He is particularly interested in custom designs and multi-purpose furniture. Christopher practices drawing, painting and printmaking. He creates works, produces paintings, builds wood games. He is passionate about art! In 2019, Christopher bought a small bus and converted it. Since that moment, his interest in vehicle conversion projects for the purpose of alternative travel has only grown. Today, his approach, knowledge and talents contribute to the success of Imagine Van Life.

Benjamin

Designer and advisor

A designer with a varied background who trained in product/space design in France for 5 years, Benjamin has worked as a freelance designer on a variety of projects ranging from creative furniture and architecture to the design and manufacture of objects and lighting. Simplicity, elegance and materials are the driving forces behind his work. It was during this period that his interest in wood became apparent. In search of new horizons, he moved to Montreal in 2019, where he worked as a cabinetmaker for four years, trained by Christopher. When Sandy founded Imagine Van Life, he saw a great opportunity to use his multi-talented profile to take on new challenges and bring the van of your dreams to life!
